1. Books will be issued only on the prescribed day, as per the class timetable.
2. Only one book will be issued on the library card, for a period of 7 days.
3. Book should be returned on the due date.
4. If a book is to be returned before the due date, it should be returned only during the recess time.
5. If the due date falls on a holiday, the book should be returned on the following day.
6. If the student is absent, he/she should show the leave note to the librarian while returning the book.
7. If a student fails to return the book on the due date, there will be a cross mark on the library card. After 3 cross marks, the student's home issuing facility of the books will be discontinued.
8. If the student fails to return the book on or before the due date, a fine of Rs. 5/- will be charged per day.
9. If a library book is lost by the student, he/she must pay the fine (Rs. 50) and the amount of the book or replace the same book. Writing of any kind, anywhere on the book, is punishable with a fine. Books must be returned before the examination.
10. Reference books should be used only in the library and will not be issued for home use / reading.
11. The library will be opened to all students during Diwali and Christmas vacations. Books can be used by the students in the library. They will not be permitted to take them home. The timing during vacation will be from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon (Monday to Friday).
12. During vacations, the student will not be allowed in the library without their identity card.
